The 2013 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards program has started taking submissions.  There are many categories you may chose to enter your work.  Among them are writing, video game design,and art.  Go to www.artandwriting.org for more information.  Deadlines vary by region.

Appalachian State University is offering a camp in Forensic Anthropology.  The camp is open to students between 15-18 years of age. Cost is $700.  Applications can be found at www.camps.appstate.edu.  


Since 1982, students across America have participated in the Broyhill Leadership Conference.  This summer program is open to rising 10th through 12th graders.  Cost is $260.  The program runs from June 23rd-27th at Queens University in Charlotte.  Applications can be found at www.broyhill-leadership.org.
